You're in a safe pair of pawsYou're in a safe pair of paws
MadDogMobile.com is designed to be as fun, secure and private as possible. The Mad Dog code has six simple rules that we ask everyone to stick to - click here to read it. It will help if you use your head and remember these safety tips, too:
Online, off limits
Don't give out private info like your name, your friends' names, a personal email address, your mobile number or your home or school address. Your screen name is all anyone needs to know.
Don't make a date with danger
Don't arrange to meet people you've got to know on MadDogMobile.com - ever. Most people here are totally genuine, but you can't be sure.
Dodgy alert!
If anything is freaking you out - bullying, adult stuff or whatever - don't respond to it, just hit the 'dodgy button'. One of the site moderators will be alerted straight away. You can also save it by pressing 'ctrl' and 'print scrn' together, then paste it into a word document, and email it to help@maddogmobile.com.
Dodgy behaviour
Don't use the dodgy button to get peeps into trouble. We'll know from tracking the site if you're telling porkies, and it could distract us from helping someone with a real problem.
Swat those fleas
If you don't get along with another user, go to My Place and put them on your 'fleas' (ignore) list. They won't be able to contact you again.
A problem shared...
The fleas list is meant for people you just don't click with. If someone is really harassing you, tell us (through the dodgy button), a trusted mate, parent, teacher or carer.
We can see you!
Our professional moderators keep an eye on every bit of the site - including 1-to-1 messaging. It's not Big Brother, we won't invade your privacy, but remember adult or abusive stuff is never ok.
Suspicious minds
A bit of suspicion is healthy! Never trust anyone who asks for your password, account or personal details, or asks you to keep something secret from your parents, carers or real life mates.
